​Each February, individuals, families and groups join in celebration of the contributions of Black Americans to our country's history and culture. We also seek to recognize, learn about and reflect upon their hardships, sacrifices and injustices that have greatly impacted their lives and strive to make the needed changes that will create a better future for everyone.
